Gerry Peñalosa said yesterday Golden Boy Promotions vice president Eric Gomez has offered to arrange a fight against WBO bantamweight titlist Jhonny Gonzalez but he would rather face WBO superbantamweight champion Daniel Ponce de Leon in a rematch to prove a point. Peñalosa fought courageously in a bold bid to dethrone De Leon in Las Vegas last Saturday. He moved up two weight classes for a crack at the crown.
